Please don't get any ideas about eating worms and regurgitating them back into the babies pathetic open beaks. I hope you are not over bonding with the young'uns...then again they look kinda hungry, it is very hot out and the mom is tired and well... oh...hmmm... nevermind...Sardonica ;)

Hello Sardonica! Been there...done that! Aww, just kidding! I haven't seen the babies for quite some time. It took me a few days to adjust, but I am doing o.k.
Catherine...haha on been there done that. Maybe there is a local support group for empty nest syndrome. I hope something else hatches in your yard or house! : ) I enjoyed the photo essay.
